This is a relatively easy ride other than being 80 miles long. Most of the hills are on gentle rolling farm roads with very little motor vehicle traffic. Just north of Saukville, you'll visit a beautiful stretch of the Milwaukee River and then go past Ehlers Park. Next is Oostburg, which is a short distance into Sheboygan County and has a very interesting history. Terry Andrae State Park is a short ride north of Oostburg. Be sure to visit the beach in Terry Andrae park! The destination for this ride is the harbor in Sheboygan - it's a great sight! You return with a visit to Port Washington. A very scenic and relaxing ride. Oostburg has an excellent bakery, sandwich shop and Judi’s restaurant. There are public restrooms and lunch area in a restored train depot in Oostburg. Terry Andrae has restrooms and vending machines at the beach. Although there are many lunch stops in Sheboygan, we use the Weather Center Café as our turn around point (excellent coffee and sandwiches). Port Washington has many facilities. And, this ride is not complete without a walk through the Lion's Den Gorge Nature Preserve.
